I WISH LOVE WAS A SIN

I wish love was a sin,
So I wouldn’t feel this pain within,
My heart wouldn’t ache for your touch,
And I wouldn’t missyou so much.

If love was a sin, I wouldn’t feel so lost,
In this endless game, at such a high cost.
I wouldn’t have to keep my feelings hidden,
And pretend that I’m not smitten.

But alas, Love isn’t a sin, it’s a force so strong,
It pulls us in, where we belong.
It fills us up, and makes us whole,
And guides us to the deepest parts of our soul.

Yes, love can be painful, but it’s worth the ride,
For it’s the one thing that can’t be denied.
So I’ll embrace it, and hold it tight,
And cherish every moment, day and night.
